Spelling Out Life... with Avatar [2009]

As I watched the movie today, (26th Feb), for the first time,
I find the movie really different. Aside from the typical sci-fi settings,
I find the lessons from the movie are mind-challenging...

To me, I learnt that we have to go back to the Creator just how He has made us...
Just like how the Omaticaya people always believed in Eywa, their living Spirit-
"All energy is borrowed and someday, you have to give it back."
Aside from that,
We are mere humans, having an empty heart, awaiting to be filled by something.
and sometimes, we tend to stop Holy Spirit to minister to us,
by just wanting to see Him personally, without believing His existence...
Yet, through the Omaticaya tribe,
Moat, the First Lady, said "We cannot teach someone whose cups are already full",
I figure it's true lor.. Often the times we tend to be so cautious of everything,
never wanting to stirred by Him and just be completely full of our fears
and full of
"what ifs He is not the true God? I'll be the next dumb guy who is following Christ".
How can Christ teach anyone whose cups are already full?
:)
Same concept, doesn't it?

There's also a scene where Neytiri said
"Sky people can not learn, they do not see"
for quite a number of times, if you have noticed it la...
I couldn't get my mind off it!
I really believe that sometimes, many are too caught up with everything else
in the world! Many are clouded by the wealth of the situations,
many are shadowed with what they want and many can never stop...
and true enough, those who chooses the world over Him, can never see the Truth with his heart.

the fact that Jake Sully surrendered his humanly desire to learn the Omaticaya's ways
of life, changed his entire mindset...
He learnt to believe that growing closer to Eywa is worth-living,
(every new experiences he learnt, it was different from the previous world)
being connected to Eywa is life changing,
(through his desire to take care of the earth)
and being one with Eywa makes him a newborn of the Family.
(through the ceremony he was celebrated in)
He too, learnt that he actually belonged to that family at the end of the day...
and yea, everybody rejoiced.. :)

I personally believe that when we are surrendering ourselves to Christ,
indeed our minds are not the same of the world...
I myself, believe that growing close to Yahweh is worth-living,
being connected to Yahweh is life changing,
and being one with Yahweh makes me a newborn to the Christ's family addition,
when I accepted Him as my personal Lord and Saviour..
and yes, like Jake Sully, I too, learnt that this is the family I've always wanted to be with the whole time!
and yes, I believed the Bible when it says 'the whole heaven rejoiced over a sinner who comes to Him'
:)

I've made my decision to let my old self go and follow Christ and accept Him as my Saviour,
it has been the toughest and craziest thing I've done in my entire life,
yet, it has been the most abundant trip I've ever experienced in my life ...
So, how bout you? Made your decisions yet?

Spelling Out Life... with Footies!

Spelling Out Life... with Pumpkin Pies with Apple Crumble!

God has been faithful this week. :)

Let me list it down,

Monday:
Accident happened,
I helped the guy until he was safely in the hospital.
I went to stamp the posters.
Banner was done.
Banner application sent in by my ever faithful friend, Zhao Lin.
Scared of Tuesday's pack timetable.

Tuesday:
ALL the classes were cancelled,
I went to visit the accident victim. LOL.
By God's grace, I'm able to meet the family and clear off cloudy clouds. LOL.
A friend of mine, Sek Kuan, is speechless because of my action. HAHAHA.
We went to collect the posters at Wisma Aman.
I had all the time to paste up the posters!
Darling Classmate, Jenna Desiree Robert, was kind enough to lend her womanpower!
We went to 3 faculties, a number of colleges etc...
too many posters left..
No more idea on pasting. too tired.

Wednesday:
HAD to collect shirt money...
been expecting the shirts on the 25th, just as the guy promised.
BUT lack of money!!!
Carrying on with MKK practice as usual...
THEN, the girls and Sek Kuan helped out in pasting posters!!
:))
AND, i've given away TONS of posters to the peserta!!
Majority from different faculties and colleges!!!!
thank God for PEOPLE!!!!
COOL huh...
STILL, lack of money to pay for shirt...

Thursday:
Shirt money not yet collected!!!!!!!!
THEN, i arranged some people to come to Pusan to pay...
THEN the shirt company called and apologized...
agreed to send the clothes today but can only receive on saturday!!!!
hahahahhahaha..
So, this equals to more time to look for more ppl to buy shirt!!! LOL..
Then, waited at Pusan...
only a few came.. =.="
BUT, THANKFUL FOR THESE! xD
THENNNNNNN..
just now, during PERKEB, we sold a number of shirts...
added all the money helped along by Jeremy Leow,
THE MONEY WAS SUFFICIENT!!!!!!!!!!
Imagine we have to raise up RM900++ in one day,
WHO ON THEIR RIGHT MIND CAN RAISE RM1000 in one day?????!!
we can't but
GOD DID IT FOR US!!!!
LOL.
and, I passed MOST of the flyers and posters to EVERYBODY!!!!

BAHAHAHAAHAHAAHAHHA....

SEEE!!! How awesome is the Living Christ I'm serving???!!!

Spelling Out Life... with Happiness

heheehehhehhee.. today I feel grateful for Him. Not just because of He has done for me but for who He is. :) I'm just happy. :) I'm in love with Christ. and the feelings are the same as the feeling below.

:D

Spelling Out Life... with Attitude!

Be consistent like Christ.

that is what I'm learning to be now.

I'm learning to be consistent in my attitude.
How I carry myself with close friends, normal friends, lecturers,
church members, pastors, parents etc...

It is never easy,
I'm sure of that.
but yeea....
He'll bring me through.
BIT BY BIT.
:)

OHHH, my patience level is higher now.
LOL.
I'm calmer in doing things now.
Learning to be organized and more RESPONSIBLE in most of my works too!
which is awesome.
HAHAHAHAHHAHHAH..
at least I'm proud to say that He is working in me, slowly.
:)

THANK YOU, LORD~~~

So are you consistent with your attitude?
:)

Spelling Out Life... with Teaching Today (Part 2)

After being strict on the first day,
I chilled on the 2nd lesson.
LOL.

I'm glad that both of us learnt new things.
I learnt to teach like a kindy teacher.
She learnt to read and spell.

So today was a fairytale.

I'm happy.

spelling Out Life... with Me being Country Leader

Esther 1:13-14

"Do not think that because you are in the king's house you alone of all the Jews will escape. 14 For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father's family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to royal position for such a time as this?"

as i spent time doing my quiet time. the desire to lead the country is in my heart again. crazy thoughts, i know. but have you ever have that desire? The desire to reduce corruptions, to have a vision from Him for the country, to encourage Love and Peace among races, to re-shape the constitution, to remove all selfish authority and to lift the country as a living sacrifice for Him... Have you? I have. I still have it. Sigh. I'm no leader but I'm willing to learn what it takes to be up there and be His living testimony.... and yea, these verses struck my heart hard when I read from verse 1 to 17. 14 For if you remain silent at this time, relief and deliverance for the Jews will arise from another place, but you and your father's family will perish. And who knows but that you have come to royal position for such a time as this?" For IF I remain quiet, content of what I have now, not chasing for SIGNIFICANT works, and unfortunately for God, He HAS to send somebody else that is from some place else, to do His work for Him. Where will that leave ME? being dead and suffered with the transgression that I am supposed to prevent earlier on... that is what I'll receive.. For I have come to Malaysia and bred here and live here for such a time like this. and that, my friends, is what I've been feeling the whole time. :)

gahhhh.... I'm blabbering now. i just feel like there's more to life than this. I know I'm made for a significant work in Him.

discover yourself in Christ who gives you great plans. :)

amen!

Spelling Out Life... with Car Accident

Just so you know,
I just had my first encounter of accident
with myself involved, that is, in my ENTIRE life.

I'm good now.
OH, i'm not hurt.
But he was.
:(

The best thing of all,
Christ was there all the while!!!

If Christ didn't let me take BSMM courses for 2 semesters,
the guy would have been in bad condition.
If Christ didn't give me the rational thinking to cover the wound on the head,
the guy would have tons of blood loss.
If Christ didn't take over me and let me stay calm and rational the whole time,
I would just cry and be a wuss there.
If Christ didn't let the Holy Spirit to calm the guy down,
he would have been going berserk.
(but he didn't, after i hold his wrist and prayed for him. :) )

But Christ knows,
He knows I'm able to go through all these,
He knows,
I would cry and climb back up.
He knows,
I was not going through this alone the whole.
He knows
that all these happened for a reason.
it is for His glory.

although this is a dangerous encounter.
LOL.

xoxo,
please drive carefully.
I'm still emotionally traumatized.

HAAHAHAHAHHAHHA.
dont laugh.
=.=

Spelling Out Life... with Me being a Malaysian

live like Malaysians,
I urge you.

If Malaysia is going to continue like this -
full of corruption
full of crappy rulers

What is your solution?

Most probably you will say -
1. who cares
2. let somebody else deal with it
3. I give up on these systems, just follow it lah!
4. I'm migrating as soon as possible

Christ never put you in a place where you would never grow.
He has SO much of awesome plans for you, no matter where you are.
But above all, He place you there to shine for His glory.

If your planning on whining, complaining,
GO.
wherever.
really.
GO.
nobody cares.
really.
GO.
for the country's sake.
she doesn't need you.
seriously.

this place is already a havoc,
she doesn't need people like you to make it worst.
empty can rings louder, they say.
that's what you are.

and I urge you to rise.
rise if you think she needs help.
Rise and be a leader.
Rise and DO SOMETHING.

Christ gave you a desire to see things grow and be fruitful,
that is the same desire that He place for our country.

IF you think this country needs help,
join the politics,
join the higher ministry,
be the faithful engineers,
be the honest business men,
be the inspiring teachers,
the servant-hearted doctors,
be the just jugde,
be whatever good.
just be good.
just shine in your place!
She needs you!
Not some money-minded people
nor self-centered people!

Little actions, when you add it all up, make a big difference!
REALLY!
By God's grace, when you are THE leaders,
you are able to change what is supposed to be changed.
You are able to make things right again.
You are able to reduce the corruption.
You are able to change the conventional system.
you are able to make Malaysia shines above all other countries.
you are able to make Malaysia your home.
you are able to prepare Malaysia for His homecoming again.

Don't whine.
just shut your negativity up and do your part.

live like Malaysians,
I urge you.

spelling Out Life... with SUKEM Marching

HEHEHEHEHEHE...

My college won FIRST prize for Marching Competition.
xD

by 1 point some more.
hahahahahah..

Our theme was:
1 Malaysia + Palapes.

oh!
we won RM1000 too!!

That's pretty much it.
It was a nice nite.
I got to know the Indian friends through this event-
janani, Jayana, Latya

and uh, yea, I got a ticked off too,
at certain period of the whole ceremony.
coz of the people didnt provide water.
xD

well, a girl gotta have her own timing also la.
HAHAAHAHAHH

Spelling Out Life... with Anger Management

I think I'm having anger management problem
I dont swear though.
I just be in a bad mood
I just have problem with people with BAD time management.
LOL.

the thing is,
the college's way of time managing is really bad.
I've been challenged mentally and emotionally.
LOL.
I remembered, twice for last week,
I waited for the festival's rehearsal to start.
IF you were to combine 2 rehearsals' time together,
I guess I've been waiting for 6hours for the people TO START.
6 LONG HOURS of my life is wasted.
and the thing pissed me off is
the organizers came after 1 hour and walked back after 5mins,
then come back after 2hours again.
and most the people involved came REALLY REALLY LATE.
NOT only late, they came in SMILING, like buat bodo only.

I mean,
I CAN be friendly and patient.
BUT not at the point where people just come in EXTREMELY LATE, say 1 hour ++
I CAN give my utmost service to people,
I do. That is one of my strengths.
BUT never cross the line where you waste my time.

Not to mention,
during the closing ceremony of SUKEM,
our college marched,
YET,
the admin people were very smart for not providing water for us.
SERIOUS.
we stood for 2hours and no water around.
WHILE other colleges' seniors or admin were giving water nonstop,
ours were sitting down there, chit chatting.
I mean,
common sense,
screw the protocol la when your people are dehydrated ba...
I was pissed off again, last nite, coz of this.
I clearly showed it on my face.
I stared at the admin and the seniors with my annoyed-serious stare.
sending the message
"PLEASE! provide us water! one would be enough!"

but no,
they only gave it after 2hours and a half passed.
awesome kan.

lol.

oh,
I'm not blaming any race, if ur concern with that.
no.
I'm just stating people's attitudes.
if you guys can work on the time management,
I'll be very happy.
and please don't do it because of MQA is coming.
Do it with a sincere heart,
please.
for my sake.
I'll get easily pissed off if you do it again.
just stop these stupid behaviour la.
it's wrong.

and yea,
I need to work on my anger management now,
because of you guys.
sigh.

spelling Out Life... with FESSAT

i love my college,
i DO.
but sometimes it can tick me off.
They asked me to come at 8pm.
But.
they started the WHOLE rehearsal at 11.40pm.
LOL.
I was pissed off, eventually.

Ah well, after an hour of being angry the organizers,
I became neutral.
LOL.
Within that 1 hour,
I pity those who I talked to.
LOL.
Not that I swore or anything,
but I think I drag ppl's spirit.

nonetheless,
the real festival went well.
I wore this beautiful Indian dress.
LOL.
I love it.
OH, I emceed the first nite.
I THANKED GOD FOR EJAN for being my partner.
HE IS SO SMART IN TALKING!
LOL!!
it was a GOOD pleasure to work with him,
he was the one covering all the last minute changes!
seriously!
I was just "uhhhh.."
hahahahahahahahaahhaha

YES,
I recited a poem on the 2nd nite.
I did my best.
I recited it for Him.
I knew He was there...
:)
and yeaaaa, SEK KUAN went to the wrong venue.
I asked him to come to DATARAN PANGGUNG SENI to watch me recite.
yet,
he went IN Panggung Seni..
HAAAHHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAH

overall,
i love the 2nd day of FESSAT.
LOVE THE PANTUN THEATER!!!
"mak ni... minta asam.. minta asam, bapa dah takda, masih mengidam!"
hahahahahahahaahhaahaaaha

xD
good day people!

I have a sense of wanting to join the fun!

Spelling Out Life... with Poems!

*sheepish smile*

I've managed to change the whole poem!
kahkahkah..

now, my new husband is Dylan Thomas!
My saviour for the day!
muahahahahahahahahaahh..

he wrote:

Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,
And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight
Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

And you, my father, there on the sad height,
Curse, bless me now with your fierce tears, I pray.
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Heheheheheeh...

At least better than the previous post!
LOL.

COME COME COME!
COME AND WATCH ME!

ngeheheheheehe...

Spelling Out Life... with Friends

friends,
they are the ones who make you grow in life
emotionally, mentally and spiritually.

friends,
challenge the way you think and you won't get much offended.
If you do, you just tell them.
because you know they'll not mind the nudging.

friends,
live out life and affect yours in a positive way.
and you just channel those attitudes to others.

friends,
they talk from light to dark issues.
they know life is just more than fun and games.

friends,
they just love you.
for who you are - annoying, loud nor quiet.

friends,
at the the end of the day,
they are the ones who will come and visit your funeral.
because they just miss your presence
and wish that you are always there for them - just like before.

to my dear dear closest friends back in Miri,
Michelle Hee, Livan Robert and Sherylin Devung.

thank you. :)

nuff said! Take care everyone! love u tons!

Spelling Out Life... with English

ONLY THE ENGLISH COULD HAVE INVENTED THIS LANGUAGE

We'll begin with a box, and the plural is boxes,
But the plural of ox becomes oxen, not oxes.
One fowl is a goose, but two are called geese,
Yet the plural of moose should never be meese.
You may find a lone mouse or a nest full of mice,
Yet the plural of house is houses, not hice.

If the plural of man is always called men,
Then shouldn't the plural of pan be called pen?
If I speak of my foot and show you my feet,
And I give you a boot, would a pair be called beet?
If one is a tooth and a whole set are teeth,
Why shouldn't the plural of booth be called beeth?

Then one may be that, and three would be those,
Yet hat in the plural would never be hose,
And the plural of cat is cats, not cose.
We speak of a brother and also of brethren,
But though we say mother, we never say methren.
Then the masculine pronouns are he, his and him,
But imagine the feminine: she, shis and shim!

Let's face it - English is a crazy language.
There is no egg in eggplant nor ham in hamburger;
neither apple nor pine in pineapple.
English muffins weren't invented in England ..
We take English for granted, but if we explore its paradoxes,
we find that quicksand can work slowly, boxing rings are square,
and a guinea pig is neither from Guinea nor is it a pig.

And why is it that writers write but fingers don't fing,
grocers don't groce and hammers don't ham?
Doesn't it seem crazy that you can make amends but not one amend.
If you have a bunch of odds and ends
and get rid of all but one of them, what do you call it?

If teachers taught, why didn't preachers praught?
If a vegetarian eats vegetables, what does a humanitarian eat?
Sometimes I think all the folks who grew up speaking English
should be committed to an asylum for the verbally insane.

In what other language do people recite at a play and play at a recital?
We ship by truck but send cargo by ship.
We have noses that run and feet that smell.
We park in a driveway and drive in a parkway.
And how can a slim chance and a fat chance be the same,
while a wise man and a wise guy are opposites?

You have to marvel at the unique lunacy of a language
in which your house can burn up as it burns
down, in which you fill in a form by filling it out,
and in which an alarm goes off by going on.

And, in closing, if Father is Pop? how come Mother's not Mop?

I WOULD LIKE TO ADD THAT IF PEOPLE FROM POLAND ARE CALLED POLES THEN

PEOPLE FROM HOLLAND SHOULD BE HOLES AND THE GERMANS GERMS!

-Unknown Author

To be honest, this author is giving me a pain in the butt.

=.="

I'm going to recite this poem during FESSAT this weekend.

I like this poem, I do. BECAUSE it is English and It's easy to understand...

but then kan... how bout to people with not-so-fluent level?

not assuming, just questioning.

Shouldn't the felo give people a more emotional poem

which we can easily relate

than teaching them English through poem??

ah well, 1 minute of recital or not, boring or not,

I'm going to give my best.

I've been called to serve Christ at whatever I'm doing,

Worship is not just mere songs, worship is a lifestyle

and this is it.

BY HOOK OR BY CROOK,

THE GOAL IS WHAT I'LL LOOK!

Spelling Out Life... with Peanuts!

:D

Spelling Out Life... with Thaipusam

*GLEE*

Being a member of BSMM, I chose to volunteer in helping out for Thaipusam
at Batu Caves, Gombak!
who knew inside the cave IS SO HUGE! it's cooling too!
I rather be in the temple cave rather than being sunburnt outside the temple.
It was my first ever experience in real-life helping people-in-need, u know...
How exciting it is!!!
Here are some of the CRAZY phenomenon that I've encountered on that 30th of Jan 2010.
LOL!!!!

AND YES, i've climbed the LONG WINDING STEEP STAIRS!

oh... this one.. he is taking a rest after being pulled with long strings.. and uh,
the strings are connected to the the hook on the body..... T.T

*this is where they go yapping like madperson, being severely in possession in the spirit of their god*

a couple of aunties told me their stories, (after they recover from fainted)
that every hook they do the body, every heavy stuff they carry on their body,
all is for the remembrance of what their God
had provided or blessed them.

:)

oh, the best part, I've "saved" or helped more than a dozen fainted people!!
and IT WAS SO THE VERY VERY VERY FUN!!!
GUESS WHAT??!!!!

.
.
.
.
.
.

some BSMM from a hospital were there as paramedic!
and THE MOST AWESOME PART, they thought I was one too!!!!

HAHAAHHHAHAHAAHHAAHAHAHAHAHHAHA

AND
while I was there, I was taught by a paramedic officer
to put on the oxygen mask on a patient.
LOL.
ah well, i know it's a just a lil thing but, I DONT CARE!
I DID IT!
