Lesson - Excel 2007

Hello All, today class is all about creating graphs, columns, rows and most importantly, the students' results.
I tried my best to do what it can for the whole thing. Hopefully I can score this class better. :)

Spilling Out of Words,

Spelling Out Life... With A Story

She glares at the her dress
beautifully tailor-made for her
beaded, sequined, all white and sure, it is perfect.

yet there are beads starting to wet the bed
resting quietly
sobbing peacefully

could have things gone wrong for her?
could have things turned out fine if he didn't left?
could have things changed if we are married years before?

emptiness dwells within her heart's core
sorrow covers the joy of blissful thoughts
death succumbs to her fiance's life
then, there was no more.

Spelling Out Life... With Questions

If I were to have such great family,
why would I be so dumb to ruin it?

If I were to have such loving boyfriend,
why do I even want to be so jealous of him being with others or quarrel daily?

If I were to have no relationship at all,
why do I crave for a touch?

If I were to do badly in my tests,
why do I want to die?

If I were to volunteer in doing somethings,
why does she have to give me that denial stare?

If I were given a chance to be good,
why do I keep on messing things up?

Spilling Out of Words,

Spelling Out Life.... With The Truth

by Nicole Nordeman
We rode into town the other day
Just me and my daddy
He said I'd finally reached that age
And I could ride next to him on a horse
That of course was not quite as wide

We heard a crowd of people shouting
And so we stopped to find out why
And there was that man that my dad said he loved
But today there was fear in his eyes

So I said daddy why are they screaming
Why are the faces of some of them beaming?
Why is he dressed in that bright purple robe?
I'll bet that crown hurts him more then he shows
Daddy please can't you do something?
He looks as though he's gonna cry
You said he was stronger then all of those guys
Daddy please tell me why?
Why does everyone want him to die?

Later that day the sky grew cloudy
And daddy said I should go inside
Somehow he knew things would get stormy
Boy was he right
But I could not keep from wondering
If there was something he had to hide
So after he left I had to find out
I was not afraid of getting lost
So I followed the crowds
To a hill where I knew men had been killed
And I heard a voice come from the cross

And it said father why are they screaming?
Why are the faces of some of them beaming?
Why are they casting their lots for my clothes?
This crown of thorns hurts me more then it shows
Father please can't you do something?
I know that you must hear my cry's
I thought I could handle a cross of this size
Father remind me why?
Why does everyone want me to die?
When will I understand why?

My precious son
I hear them screaming
I'm watching the face of the enemy beaming
But soon I will clothe you in robes of my own
Jesus this hurts me much more then you know
But this dark hour
I must do nothing
Though I've heard your unbearable cries
The power in your blood
Destroys all of the lies
Soon you'll see past their unmerciful lies
Look there below
See the child
Trembling by her father's side
Now I can tell you why
She is why you must die

At times, we think of the truth, WHAT IS THE TRUTH? He said, He is the way, the truth and the life. He said, for those whosoever believe in Him, SHALL NOT perish but have eternal life. He said, Leave behind your past and come and take up the cross and He will be with you, in you and next to you forever. He said, Just come to me and I will make you My children. He said, nothing is required of you but your heart. He is God, He is Jesus, He is Holy Spirit. He led a blameless life, He led a life to the cross and He loved and He died for you and me. We who are nothing yet He chose to die for us. Why is it hard for many to grasp that Only Truth? Its too perfect doesn't it? It's too easy, isn't it? Maybe it just is, ever wonder that? He really is The Only way. He said so, in the Bible. So What's your choice? A life without Him or a life of abundance with Him? He promised that we are His children. How cool is that? :) How great is He? Unexplainable. :)

Be blessed.

The First friend I find amusing at first sight.
I don't understand him.
FUNNY is what i can call him.
The way he thinks is just different.
He just made me laugh the whole way through,
even if I just met him yesterday.
He's different.
People may find him weird or lunatic through his writings
but for me, he's just funny. hilarious person.

Spelling Out Life... With Blood Donations!

Blood Donation 101:

1. When it's time for needle to be poke in your blood, LOOK AWAY.
2. Call your friends/ talk to your friends when you are being poked with needle.
3. DO NOT look when the HUGE needle is reaching your arm.
4. Continue to blabber/ talk nonsense until the needle is already in your arm.
5. Play with something, preferably your phone, when you are "giving away" your blood.
6. Have fun and ignore the blood that is flowing out of your veins.
7. LOOK AWAY when nurses are next to you when she wants to take out the needle.
8. Continue to play with your phone for another 15mins, after needle is out.
9. Walk to a table with tons of food after the donation.
10. Eat the free food and you can even ask for more. Not to forget, FREE CERT!

Anyway, I had my FIRST blood donation drive today!
It was undeniably petrified by the fact that a HUGE(!!) needle is going to be poked in my arm!
After all the registration had gone well, I became thrilled over it!
*scary wei*
I lied down on the recliner, pretty much anxious throughout the whole process...
So I decided to use Luke's phone to call Florence Lim.
I talked to her and complained to her how agitated I was the whole way.... LOL

so i press my palm uncontrollably,
playing with Luke's phone until a nurse came.
Without knowing anything, the blood pack is full!
Less than 10mins! :D
At that very moment, I thought I was going to fill in another pack,
which I find it not a big deal la.
But to my disappointment, they TOOK the freaking needle out.
saying its done.
but owh well, it was a nice experience to give away my blood.
was hoping it to be longer. HAHAHAHAHA

A shot of anxiety and laughter before the game began!

Photo is courtesy of Luke and Qilah

glad to have them around! :)

Spelling Out Life... With Crazy Monkeys

these species are scary. never ever think about going near them unless your an animal lover.

Secured in my own comfy room
yet I chose to walk outside to Kolej Antarabangsa Ibu Zain.
Few steps up the long winding staircases,
grasping for air to fill my lungs is what I needed most.
But guess what,
S are there!

GILA I tell you...
I wanted to scream but it was the boy's dorm in front of me.
Shivering, adrenaline pumping is what i feel at that time.
Nowhere to go!
Only God knows how scary these crazy animals are.
Nowhere to go!
2 monkeys are running towards me!
Nowhere to go!
ahh... yes. The boy's dorm.
Hold a piece of brick and wave it around to scare off the monkeys.
Anyway, i crawled in the boys' dorm.
Walked away to the big roads...

the end.

I, Joy Gracia Liso, am officially scared of monkeys.

Spilling our of words,

Spelling Out Life... With Tears

Being at home is not my cry.
Being at university is my longing.
Being away from them means freedom.
Being away from them means listening to pain from afar.

I couldn't help but to break down in church just now.
I couldnt help but to ask for prayer.
I couldn't do anything but to cry all these emotions out.
Overwhelming is what i feel.

and I thank you for the prayers and support.
I thank you for the hugs and pats and laughter you gave.

Spilling Out of Words,

Spelling Out Life... With Differences

Went to PERKEB last thursday,
I couldn't grasp the fact there's a difference between
Commitment and Surrender.
Pastor shared how a man can give great commitment toward something but
it is greater for a man to surrender his whole being for God to do something.
Most times, we are obliged to follow what is instructed for us.
Most times, we are to do things in order for Him to look at us worthy of His presence.
Most times, we do good to people just to let Him know we are good.
Most times, we are instructed to follow all rules in order to pay for our sins.
But little did we know, He paid all the yoke of slavery when He died at the cross.
A perfect man, the perfect life, the sinless man, the perfect love, the perfect king.
He who chose to die on the Cross for everyone.
"Yet not mine but Your will be done", He cried.
He rose victoriously after the third day.
A history was made and yet, He still reigns for even thousands of years.
A faith to believe He is God is what it takes for each one to have eternal life.
A faith to believe that Jesus died for all.
A faith to believe that He is alive.
That faith gives differences between Commitment and Surrender.
No good deed is needed, no act of gratitude, no perfection is wanted
nothing is required, but only your willingness to surrender your past
and take up the cross and follow Him.
that's all.
that is what it takes to inherit His kingdom above.
that's all.

beautiful is He.
