Spelling Out Life... With Differences

Went to PERKEB last thursday,
I couldn't grasp the fact there's a difference between
Commitment and Surrender.
.
.
.
Pastor shared how a man can give great commitment toward something but
it is greater for a man to surrender his whole being for God to do something.
.
.
.
Most times, we are obliged to follow what is instructed for us.
Most times, we are to do things in order for Him to look at us worthy of His presence.
Most times, we do good to people just to let Him know we are good.
Most times, we are instructed to follow all rules in order to pay for our sins.
.
.
.
But little did we know, He paid all the yoke of slavery when He died at the cross.
A perfect man, the perfect life, the sinless man, the perfect love, the perfect king.
He who chose to die on the Cross for everyone.
"Yet not mine but Your will be done", He cried.
Indeed.
He rose victoriously after the third day.
A history was made and yet, He still reigns for even thousands of years.
.
.
.
A faith to believe He is God is what it takes for each one to have eternal life.
A faith to believe that Jesus died for all.
A faith to believe that He is alive.
That faith gives differences between Commitment and Surrender.
.
.
.
No good deed is needed, no act of gratitude, no perfection is wanted
nothing is required, but only your willingness to surrender your past
and take up the cross and follow Him.
that's all.
that is what it takes to inherit His kingdom above.
that's all.

beautiful is He.

Spilling out of Words,
XOXO.
