"Salam. Perhatian kepada barisan JAKSA 2010/2011.
Esok Jam 1700 tepat akan diadakan perjumpaan pertama
barisan jaksa bersama pengetua. Anda diwajibkan hadir ke bilik memo"

that's what I received JUST NOW. LIKE 1.32PM.

HAHAAHHAHAAHAAHAHAAH...

just so you know,
JAKSA is the Residential Hostel Student Council.
I went and applied for Biro Intergrasi dan Perpaduan Kaum the other day...
It took more than 1 month(?) for them to decide weii...
then, yea.
I GOT IT!!!!!

nonetheless, this post is for my darling God.
I've been praying about this...
I told Him, if and only if He carry me through and I can only do this with His strength,
only then I get chosen.
If not, I'd just serve the college in any ways that I can.
I'm thankful for His grace and love that carry me through these 2 semesters!
Honestly speaking,
I'M SO HAPPY yet I'm cautious of my upcoming adventures!
But ALL I KNOW, I CAN DO ALL THESE WITH HIS FAITHFULNESS AND GUIDANCE!
so, here's to you,
MY EVER LIVING GOD LORD JESUS,
THANK YOU! THANK YOU! THANK YOU!

heheheehhehehee!

and yes, I LOVE YOU LORD.

Spelling Out Life... with New Hairdo

Hah!
I cut my own front hair for the first time the other day
and the result is quite impressive!
I can be the next "barber" like how some of my friends said.
HAHAAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHAH

*after* black shirt = shorter bangs | yellow top = longer bangs *before*

If you're wondering, my previous hair is not that far different than this new hairstyle la.
HAHAAHAHAAHAHHAHAHA..
The length of the old front hairdo was until my nose tip jer..

xD

After my new hairdo, most commented I look like Summer in 500 Day of Summer.

or

Jamie Sullivan in A Walk to Remember

or
Nora Danish, a Malaysian Actress

So what do ya think? ;P

Spelling Out Life... with Anger Management

I think I'm having anger management problem
I dont swear though.
I just be in a bad mood
I just have problem with people with BAD time management.
LOL.

the thing is,
the college's way of time managing is really bad.
I've been challenged mentally and emotionally.
LOL.
I remembered, twice for last week,
I waited for the festival's rehearsal to start.
IF you were to combine 2 rehearsals' time together,
I guess I've been waiting for 6hours for the people TO START.
6 LONG HOURS of my life is wasted.
and the thing pissed me off is
the organizers came after 1 hour and walked back after 5mins,
then come back after 2hours again.
and most the people involved came REALLY REALLY LATE.
NOT only late, they came in SMILING, like buat bodo only.

I mean,
I CAN be friendly and patient.
BUT not at the point where people just come in EXTREMELY LATE, say 1 hour ++
I CAN give my utmost service to people,
I do. That is one of my strengths.
BUT never cross the line where you waste my time.

Not to mention,
during the closing ceremony of SUKEM,
our college marched,
YET,
the admin people were very smart for not providing water for us.
SERIOUS.
we stood for 2hours and no water around.
WHILE other colleges' seniors or admin were giving water nonstop,
ours were sitting down there, chit chatting.
I mean,
common sense,
screw the protocol la when your people are dehydrated ba...
I was pissed off again, last nite, coz of this.
I clearly showed it on my face.
I stared at the admin and the seniors with my annoyed-serious stare.
sending the message
"PLEASE! provide us water! one would be enough!"

but no,
they only gave it after 2hours and a half passed.
awesome kan.

lol.

oh,
I'm not blaming any race, if ur concern with that.
no.
I'm just stating people's attitudes.
if you guys can work on the time management,
I'll be very happy.
and please don't do it because of MQA is coming.
Do it with a sincere heart,
please.
for my sake.
I'll get easily pissed off if you do it again.
just stop these stupid behaviour la.
it's wrong.

and yea,
I need to work on my anger management now,
because of you guys.
sigh.

spelling Out Life... with FESSAT

i love my college,
i DO.
but sometimes it can tick me off.
They asked me to come at 8pm.
But.
they started the WHOLE rehearsal at 11.40pm.
LOL.
I was pissed off, eventually.

Ah well, after an hour of being angry the organizers,
I became neutral.
LOL.
Within that 1 hour,
I pity those who I talked to.
LOL.
Not that I swore or anything,
but I think I drag ppl's spirit.

nonetheless,
the real festival went well.
I wore this beautiful Indian dress.
LOL.
I love it.
OH, I emceed the first nite.
I THANKED GOD FOR EJAN for being my partner.
HE IS SO SMART IN TALKING!
LOL!!
it was a GOOD pleasure to work with him,
he was the one covering all the last minute changes!
seriously!
I was just "uhhhh.."
hahahahahahahahaahhaha

YES,
I recited a poem on the 2nd nite.
I did my best.
I recited it for Him.
I knew He was there...
:)
and yeaaaa, SEK KUAN went to the wrong venue.
I asked him to come to DATARAN PANGGUNG SENI to watch me recite.
yet,
he went IN Panggung Seni..
HAAAHHAAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAH

overall,
i love the 2nd day of FESSAT.
LOVE THE PANTUN THEATER!!!
"mak ni... minta asam.. minta asam, bapa dah takda, masih mengidam!"
hahahahahahahaahhaahaaaha

xD
good day people!

Spelling Out Life... with Mehendi & Calligraphy Competition

*lukisan ini hanyalah untuk hiasan*

Initially I saw them across the hall...
making noises, laughing, chattering along with one another...
I have a sense of wanting to join the fun!
"I WANNNAAAA JJOOIIINNN!!!!!"

BUT
i was having my FESSAT (College Festival)...
devastating wei that 30mins of waiting for the meeting to finish.
HAHAAHHAAHHAHA...

As soon as the uber boring meeting ended,
I hurriedly walk over and join in the fun!
I tag team with a collegemate, Soo Yee.
BUT,
I only use her as my guinea pig, THAT was my initial plan..
HAHAHAHAAHAH...
no offence. but i HAVE to have a partner to join the fun!
so she agreed to be drawn henna on..

guess what,
I drew on plants, like flowers, leaves...
then I got no more ideas...
I drew some insects, like butterflies...
then I really got no more ideas...
I drew FISH. HAHHAHAHAHAHAHAAHAHAHAHAHAAH
FISH!
oh! oh! oh!
CLOUDS with rain too!!!!!

HAHHHAAHAHAHHHAHHAHAAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHHA

Spelling Out Life... with Poems!

*sheepish smile*

I've managed to change the whole poem!
kahkahkah..

now, my new husband is Dylan Thomas!
My saviour for the day!
muahahahahahahahahaahh..

he wrote:

Do not go gentle into that good night,
Old age should burn and rave at close of day;
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Though wise men at their end know dark is right,
Because their words had forked no lightning they
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Good men, the last wave by, crying how bright
Their frail deeds might have danced in a green bay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Wild men who caught and sang the sun in flight,
And learn, too late, they grieved it on its way,
Do not go gentle into that good night.

Grave men, near death, who see with blinding sight
Blind eyes could blaze like meteors and be gay,
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

And you, my father, there on the sad height,
Curse, bless me now with your fierce tears, I pray.
Do not go gentle into that good night.
Rage, rage against the dying of the light.

Heheheheheeh...

At least better than the previous post!
LOL.

COME COME COME!
COME AND WATCH ME!

ngeheheheheehe...

xoxo!

Spelling Out Life... with My First Business-related Work

LOL!!!

I've done it!!
*with the help of seniors though*

I just placed my first ever orders that cost rm2040.
Never knew placing shirt orders can be very mafan.

First of all,
I've never placed orders alone before.
-others usually do it for me, I just buy things from my friends.
I've never asked for any quotation before.
-Business minded/more organized people usually do it for me.
I've never done any transaction between real companies before.
-like I said, others do it but I've never done it. LOL.

Results:
1. Su-Jian's infamous remarks which I carry in my head all the friggin time now.
"Tell me what are you going to do next."

2. I've learnt to go around and ask for pricing from different shops.

3. I've learnt to speak properly to shops as Su-Jian said I need to work on my
professional communication skills.

4. I've learnt to delegate jobs to few people and ask seniors for help.

5. I freaked out early in the morning at 4am due to me not meeting my own expectation.

6. Deduce no.5, because I've met my monthly goal! WUHOO!

7. I'm proud of myself for going this far.

all for Him. Thank You Lord!

Spelling Out Life... with Emcee!

Muahahahahhaaaa...
I've never knew that I could be an emcee for anything
I've never knew emcee-ing can be both scary and exciting thing to do!
Hence, I learn and learned for the past semester.

story goes:
I emcee-d twice last semester.
1 is for MMP - Orientation Week
that is my first time ever emcee-d.
2nd turn is during AGM for BSMM.
that is my first time WRITING an emcee script!
omg.
all I know, I got critiqued badly.
LOL!
but it was all in the name of "LEARNING"
*yerdeh..*

then this sem, I was "forced" to come for an emcee audition for my college upcoming
festival.
literally.

"...Joy, bleh tak datang audition for emcee malam esok, 20 Jan 2010?" "...Joy, bleh tak datang for emcee audition untuk malam nie?" "...Joy, datanglah ke audition malam ni.. masih buka lagi nie" "...datang ye, kat library audition" "u datang nanti k? urgent..."

hahahahahahahahhaahha..
not to heighten my nose, but that was the fact!

LOL.
I went and audition after Genting Trip.
I went with my messy hair.
I went in with t-shirt and jeans, while the rest wear formal.
I went in with pale face.
I went in with a KILLER headache!
*aduh!*
hahahahahahahahahaha..

ah well, I've told the seniors I'll go in and audition if they don't mind my current appearance.
LOL. (PRACTICED time) I read the script thrice, I said my prayer.
I asked God to guide my speech and my thoughts.
I surrendered everything for Him. It is all for His glory!

I went in with confident *despite of my appearance*
I went in with Him in me.
I went in with Him lowering down my nervousness.
as I read, I felt calmer. I actually enjoy reading the script!
:DDD
I knew I was speaking too fast and with an American-British accent.
I knew at certain pace I was too comfortable that I spoke normally.
and TURNED OUT, the felo (hostel admin-guardians) commented on what I did.
although they never said a name but their eyes said it all.

Spelling out life... with A severly Good Start

let's just celebrate coz I start off my semester with a big bag full of sarcasm.

day 1:
Lecturer Mdm Jamie said I should have stayed at Sydney for coming back only on the 3rd week of lecture.

day 2:
I was bombarded by my College Leaders for not attending 2 of their events while I was still back in Sydney

day 3:
one of the College Leaders sarcastic emailed me back saying how ignorant I was and how I've assumed too little of her working skills, which I actually didn't. Yet, I HAVE to apologize for everything else.

day 4:
today, I've missed the Psychology in Education class. Technically, I'll have to face her sarcasm for not attending her class 3 times in a row, next week.

So, how's your week? :)
