Spelling Out Life... with Banning dances

after reading from here:

I think religious leaders in Malaysia should have a monthly gathering just to clear the air on what is good for the Muslims to do and what cant be done. It's rather embarrassing if extremists are on the bar of unity-hatred box.

Chill.

Poco-poco is not written in the Bible.

So before you extremists start to ban everything and make every Malays be pissed at the Christians for all these banning processes, please, I beg you to READ the Bible! PLEASE! Before you start to pass stupid irrelevant judgement on the Christians, please read the Bible. Google it in Bible.com or Biblegateaway.com.

Funny stuff. Indeed. :)

Spelling Out Life... with Current Issues

If stamping on bible is a standard procedure,
by all means, stamp all the religious books in Malaysia.
Quran is just for the Muslims, the Tipitaka for the Buddhist, the Veda for the Hindus.

Fair isn't it?

What is a standard procedure to the govt. anyway?
Is it standard for Malaysians to be bribed and got away with it?
Is it standard for Malaysians to close the Altantuya's case?
Is it standard for a student to scratch a teacher's car?
Is it standard for lecturers to come in late and care more about her Masters Students than her undergrads?
Is it standard for Malaysians to manipulate the citizens with so many promises?
Is it standard for Malaysians to close Teoh Beng Hock's case?
Is it standard for Malaysian to shoot a boy at his own agenda?
Is it standard for to have accusations upon accusations towards every political parties?
Is it standard for Malaysians to mock one another when status is jeopardized?
Is it standard for Malaysians to put a video of pornography publicly without the person's consent be let go?
Is it standard for Malaysians to say that it's karma for the Japanese and they deserved the tsunami because of WW2?
Is it standard for Malaysians to actually send help to the needy yet mock them at the same time?
Is it standard to send all the bright Malaysians to study overseas and let them grow there instead of here?
Is it standard to shut off Malaysians when they publicize about the truth on certain things?
Is it standard to have Malaysians misusing powers?
Is it standard to cover up lies with lies and kill or hurt those who actually knows the truth?

I just don't get it.
Why is it such standard to stamp on Bibles when the rest of the issues above carry more weight to the country? Why aren't the citizens' welfares be taken care off first before slandering the Christians? Yes I'm severely not satisfied for the Bible issue but I'm heartbroken because it's clearly shown how people care more about tiny stuff than big issues above. If this is the lifestyle of the (not) rich and (not) famous people, there goes the country.

Spelling Out Life... with 10.5 Days

Malaysians are born extremely smart but raised with stupidity under the government's ruling.

Oh, the best part, the government wants all to be dumb followers with all the restricting rules here and there but still smart enough to make the country move 1 step ahead instead of 100steps ahead.

At one point, I've been having visions of this country not in a good shape, and yes, I've already foreseen the country is under his ruling, just waiting for the day for her to burn. figuratively of course.

Thank you, country. :)

Spelling Out Life... with Day 17

We're not here to live comfortably, we are here to do something about this country. When all races start looking at themselves as Malaysians, instead of stereotyping everybody as this race or that, I believe that we'll achieve more than just Vision 2020.

Live as one, think as one, be like one.

I'm Joy Gracia Liso, I'm not a Kelabit and I'm a Malaysian.

Spelling Out Life... with Day 24

The Lord wants me to pray the nation that grows. His heart is for these people... and truthfully, I wish I don't have to feel the hurt He felt anymore...Yet, somehow, the more I get to know Him through my daily activities, the more pain I felt as I pray for this nation.

God,
I claim that Your truth, Your light, Your way be shining in their eyes, ears and hearts. I pray that they have this hunger even more to ever seek the truth, which is only through You, oh Lord Jesus Christ. I know oh Lord, as much peace, good or kindness that the world offers them, everything will cease and be useless but Your blood that shed for our sins and cleanses us and gives us life. What good is to have everything nice to feel now when even right now salvation from the Lord Jesus Christ is not in our lives?

Desire for the day:
Speak oh Lord, to this nation. Open up our heart, ears and eyes... break our pride. Let us move from prejudism, racism to a nation that fear nothing but You.

Ps: I taught today! wuhoo! I no longer have to anticipate the crazy teaching lessons or heart literature presentation! :D

Shine oh People of our Daddy God!
Wuhoo! :D

Spelling Out Life... with Day 25

The beginning of my college's festival the 10th, is today! :D

Honestly, being a council that oversees the technical department is not my strength. LOL. Number 1, the head did his job by calling the sound system person and checked with the canopies and lightings. So yea, I just say, "good job". Hhahahahahahaha... Lame, I know but what can I do when he has tons of members around him? Encouragement. XD

Preparing for the lesson for tomorrow. I have a chance of being the first 3 chosen students to teach in class tomorrow, out of 20. Haha. I'm still out of idea. Praying that the Lord will carry me through tomorrow!

Had a prayer with a friend of mine through Skype as well... Prayed for Malaysia as a whole. I've been having the stir in my heart and so does my friend. :)

Desire for today:
I pray that the government will have the citizen's best interest at heart... I pray the country councils will stop being childish in fighting for little things like you-condemn-me-i-do-the-same-to-you-too and instead, they would work on the big issues such as teenage pregnancy issues, baby dumping issues, inflation rate is getting higher, work scope for graduates is lower etc.. I pray that Jesus will bring up righteous leaders to lead this nation, where ever they are, I pray that the Lord will mold them, shape them righteously and give them a heart that wants to serve Him through the government ministries.

Have a blessed week! :)
Love always.

Spelling Out Life... with Malaysia

Feeling patriotic is good but being a Malaysia is another.

Being asked to love the country is good but being lead by a crappy leader is another.

Being asked to develop our minds and thinking is great but being constraint under ridiculous contradicting laws is another.

Being asked to be in a political party is good too but being backstabbed by fellow power-greed seniors is another.

Being asked to vote is a great one but being paid RM10-RM30 for a vote is another.

Being asked to make a change in Malaysia is the best one can think of but not having the voice be heard is another.

Ready to be changed?

Spelling Out Life... with Sensitivity In Malaysia

As I went online on my mobile to check on my emails, this stumbled on the screen. Honestly, if you ask me, I find some Malaysian "leaders" are rather childish and sensitive bunch of old people. Sorry to say lah. Truthfully, why are you so scared and be SO SO hurt from people's comments and remarks about yourself? You know yourself and you don't have to ban a social network over somebody's cruel remarks about you. Be humble lah. I find it rather stupid for leaders to have a sense of insecurity when God already place you in that position to guide all sort people with vast kind of funny characters! Does it ever occur to you when you lead, you WILL lead people of different walks of life and with different point of view? How on bloody earth did you get up there in the ruling platform without knowing and accepting the fact that there WILL be consequences of being mock in the future time? Hello, a Malaysian leader should first understand there ARE MILLIONS of citizens which (sorry to make you realize now), apparently are beautifully made and wonderfully made by God of WHICH everyone is UNIQUE, WHICH you should (by now) ACCEPT the fact that PEOPLE HAVE DIFFERENT BRAINS, DIFFERENT PERSPECTIVES and VIEWS OF LIFE. These old folks SERIOUSLY need a time off la... Time off to sit down and watch Simpsons, South Park, Power Rangers, go to a jazz lounge and just take your "superior" neon bulb which is planted on your forehead, off your head! Understand the people. Sit with them. Talk to them. That is why teachers, church ministers, Buddhist gurus, Hindu teachers and Imam have MORE followers than the politic leaders! Oh but of course, you may not know this fact because you are so caught up in yourself that you get VERY hurt from comments. Please la, if a 14 year-old kid can get over somebody calling her fat-ugly-loner-pighead-big bumps-acne girl on Facebook after a short period and WITHOUT TELLING THE MINISTRY TO BAN THE NETWORK, why can't you let go since being old, I ought to believe that you tasted MORE salt-sugar-spices-pepper than us kids?

Come to think of it, did Muhammad quarrel back when people segregate him for being right? Did Prophet Isa Al-Masih ever in His life deny Himself and hate people when everybody else stoned-whipped-hanged him for being true? Did these people ever get OH-SO-OFFENDED by our actions? No! Instead, they were sadden! You know the drill, I don't have to explain more. But at the end of the day, don't fight with stupidity with even more stupidity, that just proves you're not so much of a leader anyway.

If, by any of these comments are very STILL unacceptable by you leaders, I don't know what will happen to Malaysia. Ban this and that over comments. No wonder we are still in the mind of a third-world country. You just officially make your ever-bright citizens to be stupid not think for themselves. Congratulation.

Spelling out Life... with Sarawak's Minister

Freedom of speech in Malaysia overall is never a free one unless you are smart enough to cover your tracts. LOL. I find this site is very very very informative, I got to stumble upon this site the other day and I thought of sharing it to the world. :)

There you go!
:)
I find many ministers cover their flow of cash with more lies than anyone can offer. That's the end of our country and I strongly pray that Malaysians are wise enough to urge ALL MINISTERS to reveal their spendings + wages to the public without COVERING anything.
At the end of the day, if we are true and just in our ways, we shouldn't be upset for being transparent, right? Since all the ministers are IN the ISA or MACC project, so I doubt it wouldn't be a problem right?
:)
Dear Lord, I pray that all corruptions will be revealed daily until the day where righteous leaders will stand up and be transparent in the eyes of the public and rule this country. I ask this so that Your Spirit will not depart from this country and that Your Glory will remain here. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Spelling Out Life... with Perkasa Kena Whack - thestar.com.my

Umno will not heed Perkasa’s suggestion

KUALA LUMPUR: Umno will not heed Perkasa’s suggestion that Barisan Nasional postpone allocations and approvals of projects for the Chinese and Indian communities in Hulu Selangor, said Umno secretary-general Datuk Seri Tengku Adnan Tengku Mansor.

“Umno does not practise politics of vengeance. We cannot force people to support us and we do not victimise those who did not vote for us.

“We will deliver on our promises and we are here to serve the people,” he told a press conference yesterday.

He was commenting on Perkasa president Datuk Ibrahim Ali’s statement that Barisan should postpone allocations for the two communities because they did not support the coalition in the by-election.

Tengku Adnan also hit out at PKR’s Datuk Zaid Ibrahim for claiming that he had lost the Hulu Selangor by-election because of money politics.

He claimed it was PKR that enticed voters with RM200 cash, food and rice.

Meanwhile, MCA central committee member Datuk Ti Lian Ker has also lambasted Ibrahim for making irresponsible statements.

“He is being opportunistic and playing the racial game to the hilt,” he said on his blog yesterday.

Ti also said that Ibrahim had little political credibility.

BAHAHAHAHAHAHAAHA... I trully support Datuk Ti and DAtuk Seri Adnan. :D Finally somebody up there noticed Perkasa's president's faults! Little political credibility indeed! I rest my case on Perkasa. LOL

Don’t tolerate corruption

PUTRAJAYA: Firm action should be taken against employees found to be involved in corrupt practices, said Chief Secretary to the Government Tan Sri Mohd Sidek Hassan.

Sidek, who headed the task force studying the 2008 Auditor-General’s Report, said some department heads preferred to give second chances to employees who were negligent or intentionally flouted regulations when handling public funds.

He was commenting on the findings in the report that department heads at the ministries were reluctant to act against errant staff because the offence involved matters “outside of their jurisdiction”.

Graft is out: Government officers from various agencies taking an oath to fight corruption at the launch of the MACC campaign in Putrajaya yesterday.

“Some corrupt civil servants are giving all of us a bad name, so why should we tolerate them,” he said at a press conference after launching the Malaysian Anti-Corruption Commission’s (MACC) Bringing Change Together: Combat Corruption campaign here yesterday.

In GEORGE TOWN, Penang MACC deputy director Mohd Noor Abd Rahman said the state commission, which arrested six people for graft from January 2009, was monitoring 20 people for allegedly offering bribes.

“We will move in once we have completed our investigations,” he said after launching the state MACC anti-corruption campaign in Jalan Sultan Ahmad Shah.

In SHAH ALAM, Selangor MACC director Datuk Jaafar Mahad said only one out of 10 corruption cases was reported.

“People have the perception that it is fine to offer a bribe.

“Some feel that giving a bribe to civil servants will help to speed up an application,” he said when opening the state-level anti-corruption campaign at Dewan Annex.

In KOTA BARU, state MACC director Nasaruddin Mohd Nor said the commission was ready to resume investigations into a high-profile case involving Kelantan Mentri Besar Datuk Nik Abdul Aziz Nik Mat and his son-in-law Abdul Ariffahmi Abdul Rahman following a directive from the Attorney-General’s Chambers.

In IPOH, Perak MACC director Nooraziah Abd Manaf said steps must be taken to fight the negative perception that the public had against civil servants.

:) Let's see how far can these people remain clean in the ministry. All the best k! :)

spelling Out Life... with Onóir, Grá agus Ghaois

A poem of my own.
enjoy! :)

Onóir Grá agus Ghaois

a sweet lie reigns:
money, influence and power defines leadership.

places where we walk and conquer
you come and make labours
cries of foul and resentments arise
you come and make hatreds
blue, red, green papers of yours never satisfy
when you come and make beggars
many have seen it.
not just I.

My heads,
when all else disappears,
tá sé onóir, grá agus ghaois go sainmhínítear a ceannaire
amen
